Historic organ in Bad Ischl sounds again

Anton Bruckner once played at the inauguration of the Mauracher organ in Bad Ischl, which was rebuilt and extended at the beginning of the 20th century to mark the birthday of the Austrian Emperor and has since been known as the "Emperor's Anniversary Organ".

The organ has been restored in line with the requirements of historical preservation and has even been partially supplemented: Austria's first remote organ in the choir loft has been restored, giving the organ a new, "heavenly" dimension.
